1979 Lincoln Continental Town Car This is an oppritunity to own one of the last true American Luxury Cars. Driving and riding in this car is like floating on air!! I bought this car off of Ebay 5 years ago and have restored the exterior. All chrome was removed. All rust spots were fixed and the car was painted with 1979 Lincoln paint. The car was clear-coated just like they did at factory. All chrome was cleaned and reinstalled on car. The headliner and rear bumper was replaced. The tires are practically brand new. I have only put about 3,000 miles on this car. She starts right up. I think the carburator needs a good cleaning. At idle she sputters a little sometime but on the road she purrs!! The AC has been converted to the new stuff and needs to be charged. I have not fooled with it, simply because I love to drive with the windows down!! All electronics inside work except the drivers rear window. I have a new motor for it but just have not put it in yet. THE BAD The only thing left to do on this car is the seats. The previous owner left the car in the sun alot and didnt condition the seats. The front seats have dried and cracked. The rear are just a little faded at the top. The car needs a good buffing. I live 10 minutes from Norfolk International Airport and 45 minutes from Newport News International Airport and would be happy to pick you up. I would also be willing to drive this car to you.
