Vehicle Detail
Drive her home. Enjoy this summer and do the cosmetics when you have time. It is a 302 2bbl Auto with power steering and a power top. Everything works on the car. It has new brakes and drums. New balljoints. The right side has new floor pans and a repaired inner rocker. A replaced front rt torque box. This work was done professionally. The left side of the car was not repaired when the right was done. It is sound for now but eventually will need to have similar repairs done. The car came with a left floor pan and a botton torque box and an upper left, so it was a planned repair. It also has a set of welded in sub frame connectors to keep the car stiff. The door gaps are good and the doors open and close correctly. The hood has some surface rust and there are some areas that will need to be repaired exentually. Over the rear tire and behind the rear tire. It has really nice clean wheels and tires on it that are 90 %. She is a looker and gets lots of THUMBS UP's and Nice Ride comments. The front nose is a Mach 1` unit so it has a custom look to it. The power top works great and the latches are good. the cowl does not leak. The motor runs good, but could use some road miles and maybe a tune up eventually. I would not hesitate to drive her to the dream cruise and back in Detroit 550 round trip and I will if she does not sell. It is a good driver and light project car since it is a driver. For those who are into big power I have a 70 429 395 hp with DOVE Heads that is a complete motor missing wires and carb, has exhaust manifolds. I bought it for another project but it would be a great motor for this car. All you need is a C-6 and a set of $145 motor mount brackets. I can't guarantee the engine since I did not run it but was told it was rebuilt around 20,000 miles ago. It even has a starter. I do have a Mighty Deamon 850 for it for sale for as well. I picked the car up as a barn car that had been sitting since 93. I got her running and cleaned up. I do restore Mustangs but have too many lined up other wise I would keep this one. I like the interior and it is a quiet ride compared to early models. If the buyer would like the left inner rocker repaired and the pans installed I could make time to do the work before the car is picked up. Thanks and Good Luck
