Vehicle Detail

CAMARO SUPERCAR REPLICA / LOGOS HAVE BEEN PHOTO SHOPPED OFF THE CAR FOR PICTURES. EBAY RULES... PHONE 808-205-8414..THE CAR IS IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS. You’re looking at a really awesome CAMARO SUPERCAR CLONE. This car is NOT a Volkswagen “Kit Car,” rather a V8 powered replica built on a 1992 Chevy Camaro chassis. The car only shows 77k miles and runs strong with no smoke, taps or knocks. The 305 V8 is mated to a tight shifting 5 speed manual transmission. I just took an over 100 mile trip in it in nearly 100 degree temperatures outside and it ran wonderful with cold blowing air conditioning. The car has clearly had a TON of money invested in it over the years. The car has an awesome sound and video system in it that the past owner said was over $2500 when new. The car has an in dash DVD player and my 7 year old daughter loved watching a movie on the way home. The car also has a high quality alarm system in it. I have not seen one drip of oil or anything under the car when parked. The paint is in nice shape even up close. There is one small area where it’s rubbed off on the passenger’s side lower fender near the nose. The car sits on really nice looking aluminum alloy wheels. The tires are showing age on the side walls. The car has “T-Top” glass roof panels that makes for a nice driving experience. I have never removed them. The seats show very little wear and I’ve not noticed any rips in them. The door panels do show wear but are not in horrible condition. The car has a neat looking dash board and all the gauges seem to function right. The dash cover does have cracks, I thought a cover would be a quick temporary fix. Here’s what I’ve found that could use some attention. The drivers side “flip up” headlight sometimes stays up when turned off. When you turn off, then on a few times it does drop down. The Air Conditioning sometimes blows at first up on the windshield for awhile. Then…it moves down to the dash vents. I believe a duct door in the dash is sticking. The power trunk release is not releasing the trunk door. It lifts up, and then closes itself. Those are all the issues that come to mind. It’s a very unique car that grabs lots of attention. I believe you could get in this car “as is” and drive it anywhere in the country. The car is sold “as is where is” with NO expressed warranties. Please call Hawkeye for a showing at 808-205-8414. The car is located in San Antonio. On Jul-26-10 at 13:51:54 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE! I READ THE AD OVER AND NOTICED I DIDN'T INCLUDED THAT DUE TO THE AIRBAG STEERING WHEEL REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A RACING WHEEL THAT THE DASH AS "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" OR SOME MESSAGE ON IT. THE PAST OWNER SAID HE HAD THE CODE READ AND IT WAS RELATED TO THE AIR BAG MISSING. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS...I HAVE ANSWERS. CALL ME AT 808-205-8414...IT'S AN AWESOME CAR!
