We've owned this Element since 03/2009 and put 19,000 miles on it. I have a photos of the damaged condition and during the repair. I bought this Honda wrecked. It was side swiped on the right side and did not blow any air-bags (it does Not have any error codes after the accident or now). I know Salvage scares people but most all members of our family drive them. I would always buy the lightest damage cars possible. Many of them I've driven home. On my photo site you can take a look at some of the cars I've built (427 Cobra replicas to "Buster" Festiva). I know my Son would love to have the Element but he's still got miles left in his Volvo wagon! (And the Free Cars have ended!) I just put two new tires on the Element so currently it doesn't need anything. It has the kicking 240 watt Honda stereo with the Sub/woofer and the aux. input for an Ipod or MP3 player. It's nice and clean and a non-smoker. It gets good gas mileage and is dependable as you'd expect for a Honda. In 19,000 miles we have not had one problem with the car since it was repaired. I can assure you the doors on the Right side close exactly like they did prior to the accident. A minor item the door seals were damaged by the original owner. They have several minor tears where someone had locked the keys in the car and poked a coat-hanger between the door. I just didn't think they were bad enough to warrant replacing. Front to rear, that's honestly it. It is all-wheel drive, I'm not an off-road person so I have no idea how well the Honda AWD works since it hasn't been "mudding". I have two keys and one remote. If you're local, come drive it. Other wise you can look at the other cars I've built and repaired to get a good idea what kind of work I do.
