For Sale : 1968 Chevy Impala 2-door Fastback. This car has a good frame, solid floors and trunk, new lower quarter sections both front and back on passenger side. The entire drivers' side quarter panel has been replaced at some point - a small amount of rust was repaired on the edge of the wheel well and behind the rear wheel. Rear body mounts were replaced. New items include: paint, seat covers, carpet, headliner, package tray, and windshield. The rest of the glass is in good condition. The engine is a 1968 327 but not original to the car. The engine was sleeved and bored .030 over. The engine was rebuilt with all new parts. Heads were also rebuilt with all new parts and hardened seats. Power- Glide transmission was rebuilt as well. All work was done less than 50 miles ago. Wheels are 15X7 Rally and tires are in good condition. Clock does not work and radio has not been connected. The only option this car has is power steering. Brakes work fine to stop the car, but not as smooth as I would like them to be - could use front brake shoes. True milage is unknown.
