Here for auction is a very clean original 1966 lincoln Continental 4 door with the original 462 V8 and an automatic. This is an original southern California car and is 99.9%rust free. The trunk floor is perfect and the floors show no signs of rust. The only rust I can find is on the inside lip edge of the trunk lid (see pictures). The car runs, drives, shifts and stops excellent. The only real thing I could suggest mechanically is maybe a Carb rebuild. The carb is a little lean and could use to be gone through but the car runs very well. Everything in the car works even the A/C blows cold. The paint on the car is ok but doesnt really shine. I know in the pics it looks white but its actually a very light baby blue color. The paint is all there and this is actually one of the straighest continentals I have ever come across. These cars are so big and flat straight ones are hard to find and this car needs minimal body work. All the trim and bumpers are in very good shape and straight. The interior is very nice for an original interior. The entire dash is excellent but it has 1 craxck in the very center of the dash pad. The seats are nice and the door panels are great but the carpet has a few stains. The interior is in excellent shape. The passenger rear window swithc is broken on the drivers door so you can roll it down but all the windows work it just needs the one switch. This is a nice driver lincoln that could be show worhty with very little work. This car is being offered AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied.
