Here for auction is a sweet running little 1972 BMW 2800CS. The car is very clean and runs and drives excellent. The motor starts right up and runs excellent. The trans shifts smooth and the brakes stop very well. Mechanically the car needs nothing. The Paint is descent but not great. The car was originally white and should be repainted. Other then the paint the outside is very nice. The interior is very clean with only minimal signs or wear. The seats are nice with no rips or tears. The only real bad part of the interior is the headrests need to be recovered. The car does have some rust unfortunatley. The roker panels have rust in the front edge on both sides and at the rear on the passenger side. The drivers floor has a little just behind the rocker panel rust. Also the spare tire well in the trunk is rusty and there are two small spots at the edge of the hood where the shock towers are. The rest of the car is very solid and the floor pans are actually very solid just the rockers seem to be affected. All in all this is a car you can climb in and drive right now reliably and man is it a fun car to drive. This car is being offered AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied.
