This 1999 BOXSTER belongs to my Dad and I am helping him sell it on eBay for a fraction of what he paid years ago. The car is located in the greater Dallas, TX area, and serious buyers can make an appointment with him to see the car in person. This 1999 PORSCHE BOXSTER is a 5 speed manual transmission, Silver Color exterior with black leather seats, and an automatic black convertible top. It is a 6 cylinder, 201 horsepower with power everything, and the LOWEST MILEAGE you will find on a car of its age ANYWHERE, coming in at only 27,979 ORIGINAL MILES!! The first owner of this car was a doctor who bought it new from the dealer. My father purchased the car in 2003 when it was, basically, still new, as it had only 12,906 miles on it. Since that time, he has barely driven it, taking only pleasure rides, NOT as a daily driver. The car has been garaged the whole time, and impeccably maintained. It is a NON SMOKERS car, and it now stands at only 27,979 original miles, which should tell you he has not been having as much fun as he should have with this. He is forced to sell it now due to some recent medical issues, but his loss is definitely your gain. This car is PRICED TO SELL. We have checked eBay histories of completed sales on this car, and we have searched a 250 mile radius of Dallas. All we find are cars with TWICE the mileage, priced for the same amount. We have placed a VERY reasonable reserve, as well as a BUY IT NOW well worth grabbing if you just can't wait for this 10 day auction to end. The sky is the limit on this one if you are looking for a PORSCHE COLLECTIBLE in MINT CONDITION, so don't hesitate as there will, no doubt, be a bidding frenzy at the end. Only mentions are a very tiny scratch (see pic) that is almost imperceptible, and hardly worth mentioning except in the interest of being thorough. The Airbag light indicator on the instrument panel is lit up for some reason other than there being any problem. He has had it checked out, and the mechanic thinks it is just a sensor misreading, and he assured him that there is definitely NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with the working deployment of the airbags. He has the service record to back this up. I have a BMW myself with a Check Engine light on, though there is no problem at all.
