70' D100 SWB "Sweptline" Extremely desirable & rare ShortWide 383/ auto Torque flight.. 23,603 ACTUAL and original and miles. I purchased truck from original owner 11 years ago & it took me 2 years to get it. He bought it new in San Mateo, Calif, in Dec. 69' AND it had the 383 in it, in 69' which is why i bought it Pics speak for themselves. Its immaculate. As you know, ebay item # 220576863214 ( please look !) sold here roughly 7 or 8 weeks ago for almost $ 13k... Mine is probably, with all due respect, nicer, and certainly runs and handles better..and has always been a Calif truck. It is an original bore 383 w/ elec choke Edelbrock and i have a brand new 70' 383 snorkel air cleaner yet to install to finish it off. Body is amazing, no rust and no waves and ZERO bondo. Oil pressure cold is 78.. Undercarriage is exceptional w/ zero issues whatsoever. Looks like a bone dry 23,000 original mile truck underneath. EVERYTHING works ! Seat is showroom. Dash is superb. I installed a late 60's 8-track player and kick-panel ( very OEM looking) speakers. Original wheels, tranny rebuilt at 22,000 miles for good measure. Has very very custom made front disc conversion w/ police interceptor calipers and 11'' rotors, installed at 22,000 miles... rear axles & 8& 3/4 rear end serviced at 22,000 miles for good measure, as were new shoes/bearings/wheel cylinders. New water pump and 4 row radiator rebuilt at 22,000 miles for good measure... block is impeccably clean. MSD billet distributor/coil/control box installed at 22,000 miles, w/ Taylor wires. Oil changed every 200 miles or so, & only has roughly 1600 miles in 11 years. It goes down the road & tracks straighter than in any old car ive ever owned. It can go coast to coast effortlessly & the oil & coolant have 10 miles on them. It has been babied literally to death and mechanically needs nothing. Try to find another 69' to 71' shortbox 383 Sweptline this straight for roughly $ 8k, if you can, tell me where it is because i'll buy it... and even then it will need weeks/months of tinkering to get everything to work, and it wont have a front disc conversion, etc... Near new 215/70/15 whites, and shocks.... all gauges work. Heater is phenomenal... You wont ever find a better or more reliable 70' 383 truck this straight for the price. Its a well known truck in the Sweptline community & has been to many west coast Mopar gigs. Payment to be made via Cashier's check or wire-transfer only, to be paid in 3 days, and NO paypal !!
