I'm forced to sell my beloved Impala SS that my father purchased new in 1995. I have kept this car in storage but am now moving to a new city with limited parking spaces. This has been my third car and has only had 56k put on the car in the last 8 years. Now is the time to buy a limited edition classic car. It is in good condition but needs some minor reconditioning. The car is a great cruiser with plenty of power and handling for such a big car. The car is stock except for 40 Series Flowmasters and 3.5" tips for a great sound (see video at bottom), Clear Title in hand! The car is always warmed up prior to driving. The transmission was replaced at 120k (low pressure leak from the transmission cooler) by the dealership. The LT1 350 ci (5.7L) V8 motor still runs very strong and has lots of power. Even with all that power it still gets 25 mpg!! The miles are mostly highway miles. It is one of the best highway cars out there. It has gone from coast to coast twice and up to Chicago. The 26 gallon tank mean you don't have to stop for gas very often. The brakes are still good with plenty of wear left on the pads and rotors with no warping/ grooves. Water pump, alternator and EGR valve have been recently been replaced. A/C works and blows cold. The front suspension was rebuilt around 150k with new poly bushings, front springs (stock ride height, a little firmer) and tie rods. Fluids have been cared for regularly and I have most (if not all) records for the car. ExteriorThe paint on the exterior is good with some minor imperfections and light scratches which can be seen in the photos. The passenger side mirror needs to be replaced. Interior Inside the car the interior is in very good condition for a car of this age and mileage. The steering wheels leather is drying on top from sunlight. The seats are in good condition with exception of a hole in the seat (in the picture) the diameter of a pen. The dash has some sun fading but is still in good condition. New carpet, seats have minor wear and a tiny hole in the drivers seat Back seats are in great condition The armrest needs to be replaced (I have the original) The passenger side mirror was broken by an unknown person in my parking deck several years ago. The motor is stock except for the removal of "1st base"and "Homeplate" which are air silencers. I have still have the parts The car is sold AS IS with no express nor implied warranty.
