This amazing, truly loaded, and versatile vehicle was almost $40,000 new 9 years ago; remains in outstanding condition today; and is being sold with absolutely no reserve! ...and, "Yes", we ship anywhere! Description: Mechanical: We’ve fully inspected and serviced this vehicle, including full computer diagnostics. Mechanically, it is sound and absolutely reliable. The motor is incredibly clean. All electronics function properly. Air blows ice cold. However, if you are an agressive driver you will notice a hard-shifting transmission which is triggering a service light on the dash. (If you are a mild driver, you will barely notice.) As such, I am selling this with the opinion that the transmission will need to be replaced at some point. The cost of transmission replacement is $1,400-$1,600. It may need to be done in a few months or it may need to be done in many years (depending on your driving style). Driving: This is an amazingly quiet driving car that is an absolute pleasure to drive! Although it has a massive amount of storage space, it drives like a small car: very manueverable, tight and peppy. There's no play in the steering and it actually turns on a dime! This is easily the most manueveral and comfortable wagon or suv that I've ever driven. Exterior: I tell people to expect minor chips/scratches on every vehicle that I sell. No exception here. That said, the paint is glossy and you can tell from this car's near mirror-like finish that it has obviously been stored inside. Interior: Beatiful leather with walnut trim. No cracks in dash. Headliner is clean. All seats move/operate properly. Carpet is in good condition. The front driver seats does show substantial cracking (although this could be easily replaced or covered) and there is a missing piece of interior trim in the rear cargo area that is barely noticeable in the photos. In brief, expect an interior that is exceptional for a 2001, but not perfect. Odor-free interior smells like new leather...obviously owned by a non-smoker. Electronics: All electronics function properly, including the power window switches, power sunroof switch, power locks, power mirror switches, power seat switches, stereo/cd, cruise control, and steering wheel controls for stereo. Glass: No cracks, no chips. Tires/rims: Alloys rims. The tires easily have 70-80% remaining. To sum it up: This is a truly unique (even paradoxical) vehicle. It combines elegant European style with rugged all-wheel drive capabilities. And it combines massive amounts of comfort, storage and cargo capacities with tight, manueverable and peppy driving.
