You are bidding on a 1998 Volvo V70 in a great mechanical condition. The engine runs smooth and the transmission shifts flawlessly with no visible oil leaks whatsoever. The A/C and heat are working perfectly. This is a non-smoker car with a third seat (7 passengers). For the last 4 years the car was slightly driven except for a daily 3 mile ride each way to the commuter bus station toward the city.The car shows a few signs of age with a few scratches here and there. On the roof of the car you will notice that the paint is fading a little bit with a couple of surface rusted spots as shown on the pictures. No leaks though but it would require attention before it gets worse.The interior shows normal wear and tear of a 12 year old car. The stitching is coming off on the driver side seat bottom cloth cover. The rear cigarette lighter housing is missing.The hood locking mechanism is broken. This happened during a small fender bender. The damage is barely noticeable as you can tell from the pics. You would still be able to open the hood without any problems through the front grille. The driver side turn signal housing is also broken as a result but the lens is still intact and it is operational. It is taped in to stay in place. The car needs a wheel speed sensor. It failed a couple of months ago and never had the chance to fix it. That is the reason why the ABS and traction control lights are on the dash. It is a simple and a low cost repair. It is also the reason why sometimes the speedometer doesn't work. Therefore the mileage must be slightly off.I cannot think of anything else to mention other than normal wear and tear which could be cheaply fixed if you choose to. I know it rides great and that it still has a lot to offer. You are welcome to have the vehicle inspected and if you have any question please don't hesitate to ask.
