This is a very nice riding R50/2 that has been in our group of friends for the 25+ years. It has always had the best maintenance and is currently in excellent running and riding condition. With only 20k on the clock I wouldn't hesitate to ride this bike anywhere in the country. It starts first kick and purrs like a kitten. Out of all the BMW /2 models the R50 is the smoothest running and this one is no exception. Cosmetically it is above average for a 45 year old machine. Tins have all original paint and stripes with patina from years of riding. All the Chrome is in excellent condition. Exhaust system looks great and has the throaty Sport mufflers. The crossover does have one area that was repaired sometime in the past. It has a nice set of Metzler tires and european low bars. This ls a awesome rider and just for buying it your instantly a enthusiest. You can find a resto bike any time but it getting harder and harder to find a original low mile machine.
