1963 Jaguar E Type Roadster...proper Series 1 .very desireable early car with all the correct equipment...the car is a matching number car, original Moss gearbox still in the car, covered headlight, tri carb car..very original and correct overall...the original engine has just over 55,000 miles, runs perfect, no rattles or smoke of any kind, the car has the original Moss gearbox fitted and although it is useable , changing gears takes a little getting used to. I would imagen that the gearbox will need some attention at some time in the future..All the other mechanicals are in fine working order and the car is perfectly driveable . The body of the car is very good, there is no rust, all the usual rust spots in these cars are solid and rust free..the car was repainted some years back, the paint still shows very well, the chrome has some pitting going on and would need attention...the rear chrome is good, the front is pitted..the chrome wheels are in very good candition as are the tires The interior is good, seats are in good shape with just minimal wear, carpets are somewhat stained but useable...as you can see have rubber mats over them...best part of the nterior is the dash,,,very nice dash top, no cracks or tears and the aluminum is excellent...this type of dash only came in the 3.8 liter cars and looks great.The top has a tear in the rear, I have a brand new top which I am including in the sale..the boot mat is missing Overall this car is an excellent driver level car...In my opinion one of the most desireable model E Types...it is perfectly useable just as it is but would benifit from some light attention from the chrome and carpets..It is avaliable for inspection at any time and I would encourage any potential buyer to have it inspected
