1986 Chevrolet CUCV M1008 Miltary 4WD 5/4 ton truck. 6.2L Diesel, TH400 Automatic as original. This is an excellent running, and driving 1 1/4 ton work truck that I've owned since 2006. I purchased it to haul hay, for my wifes horses and other work around my property. Horses are gone, (thank goodness) so I am selling for a smaller truck. Since I've owned it I have installed all new fuel injectors, glowplugs, new dual exhaust and two new rear tires. It is an excellent running extremely heavy duty 4wd truck. Originally it was a United States Marine Corps truck from Okinawa Japan. I purchased it from a gentleman on Edwards Air Force Base in California who brought it back from Japan. I has NO rust. The USMC had the truck rustproofed when new. There is a dent in the drivers door, a dent behind the right rear wheel and a dent in the top edge of the tailgate. I have the complete set of original troop seats that mount on both sides in the rear that go with the truck. An extra rim is included in addition to the factory spare underneath. I also have a copy of the military service manual that will be included.
