Super Cool! A 1 owner 1969 Jeep Pick-up with an air cooled Deutz Engine! It is not the factory engine but the original owner had it installed because he needed power! Incidentally, he watched this vehicle being built at the Jeep factory and drove it home in March of 1969. He owned it until he passed away this year. It was used as a water well pump truck to install and service pumps down the well shafts. It comes with a 30 foot collapsible boom which has its own engine and winch. Owner regularly handled 1000 pound loads with the rig. The rigging all comes out of the bed for use as a pick-up. It even has side compartments which he had a local facory incorporate into the bedsides. They were so well done they look like an OEM option. 3 speed manual floor shift with manually selected 4 wheel drive and lockout hubs. Great Tires, too. What you see in the pictures, especially under the side doors in the bed is dirt. The truck was always garage kept, but I don't think it has ever been washed. Ever. Also the picture of the headliner looks like the roof is rusty. It is not. I only included it to show the CB. The paint is original I think and the quality is still fair. It has remarkably few scrapes and small dents for a truck of that age, especially a work truck. This is a solid survivor as a daily work truck.
