Here for auction is one rare buick. She is a 1965 Buick Sport wagon which is the sister of the Olds Vista Cruiser. This car came factory with a 300 V8 and a Super Turbine 2 speed automatic. She also came factory with power windows, power seat, A/C, P/S and power brakes. This is a very nice looking driver quality car that can be enjoyed as-is. The exterior is nice with recent paint that is nice but not perfect. The chrome and trim are all in excellent condition. The spear end on the passenger side quarter panel was missing so a piece has been created out of aluminum to finish it off (see pictures). The new piece looks good and most people cant tell but it does need a new one to be right. Other then that the car is complete. The buick rally wheels are nice and are wrapped in good white wall tires. The interior is 90% original. She has new carpet and a new headliner and the sun visors have all been redone and they look excellent. The seats are original as well as the door panels. The dash pad has also been redone. The interior of the car is actually quite impressive and everybody that see's it compliments it. The 300 runs great and the trans shifts like it should. The car actually drives very very solid and tight. I believe the miles to be real at 78K. The car is very very smooth and solid down the road. Its amazing this buick is smoother then my 2001 VW Passat. The car has all new exhaust from manifolds to tailpipe. It does have a small manifold gasket leak but only a slight one. I would not hesitate to climb in this car and drive anywhere. Everything in the car works with a few exceptions. The passenger side rear window doesnt work not sure why but the other 3 and the back window work fine. The A/C does not work. Like all old cars it either needs to be serviced and recharged or converted to new R-134 freon. Other then those few things everything in the car works. The only rust in her is the very bottom of the spare tire well but aside from this the car is extremely solid like most Socal cars. These cars are few and far between so dont miss the chance to own one. This car is being offered AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied.
