2000 Porsche Boxster I am selling my 2000 Porsche Boxster convertible. My wife and I have enjoyed this car for the last couple of years but are selling it due to an upcoming move. I am not using a reserve price for the auction, nor am I offering an official Buy It Now price. That said, I reserve the right to end the auction early if a buyer shows proper interest before the end time. I am listing the car locally for $9,850 and would be willing to consider any reasonable offer to end the auction early. Specs 2000 Porsche Boxster Manual 5 Speed Transmission Porsche Red Interior / Silver Exterior Electric Windows/Locks Electric Driver’s Seat Owner’s Manual/Documentation Dunlop Tires with 80-90% tread (see pic) Mobile One synthetic oil used History I purchased the car after it had been scraped up from contact with a barbed wire fence. The car was repaired at a professional body shop in my area and run through the process of being given a “Prior Salvage” title, which means the car was rebuilt. As part of that process the car was inspected by the Missouri State Highway Patrol after the rebuilding process. Once done, the car was safety inspected, titled, and insured in my name. Purchase/Shipping The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, though I will assist where possible. I may be able to assist in getting the car to the Kansas City area if that would benefit the buyer. Within 48 hours of the auction’s end I require a $500 deposit, via PayPal or money order, and the remainder of the sale price will be due within 14 days and will need to come in the form of cashier’s check or cash. When you arrive to pick-up the car, if you feel that it was misrepresented I will refund the deposit amount and we can cancel the transaction. Have your finances in line before winning the auction. Flaws As you may expect, a 10 year old car has a few imperfections. The interior of the car is great with 3 small exceptions: there are some scratches by the shifter, there are small pits in the driver’s arm rest (plastic), the cover for the mirror on the passenger visor is gone (only seen when visor is down). The exterior is also in great condition however there are some small scratches (unable to see through the pics) in front of the driver’s side mirror. Also, while the wheels have never been curbed, two of them have some small scratching on them as you can see in the pictured wheel. I try to be fair when listing a car online, as the buyer has to bid based on photos. Overall The car has really been a pleasure to drive over the last couple of years and is in great shape for its age. The low miles are indicative of the level of care that we gave the car and the frequency of its use. If you are looking for a fun sports car that is under $10k this may be the car you are looking for. I have only one key, which may need to be programmed for remote unlock, as well as the manuals and documentation from previous car maintenance. I also have the title in hand (no liens) and I am ready to sell at a moment’s notice. I may also be able to help with car transport to the Kansas City area as I will be working there in the coming weeks. I will refuse and terminate bids from bidders with less than 10 positive feedback or those bidders with less than a 95% positive rating. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
