With the top up, this is with a doubt the quietest convertible that I've ever driven. To let the top down, simply push a button and it retracts into the trunk automatically in less than 5 seconds. Drop the top; crank up the stereo and power up the 3.8L V6 MPI OHV and you have the perfect summer vehicle! It corners like it's on rails; has an accident-free carfax; low miles (< 10k per year); sounds great; runs perfectly and looks dang-near new. Description: Mechanical: We’ve fully inspected and serviced this vehicle, including full computer diagnostics. Absolutely no codes. Absolutely no dash lights. Mechanically, it is sound, perfect and absolutely reliable. The motor is so clean that you could eat off of it. All electronics function properly. Air blows ice cold. Driving: Its automatic transmission shifts into all gears smoothly, both in town and on the highway. It drives tight, accelerates fast and corners beautifully (hey, it's a good ole American Camaro, after all!). It is an absolute pleasure to drive! Exterior: I tell people to expect minor chips/scratches on every vehicle that I sell. No exception here. Additionally, there is a spot that is approximately 2 or 3 inches on the hood that shows fading (but is too minor to show up in photographs). That said, the paint is glossy and you can tell from this car's near mirror-like finish that it has obviously been stored inside. Interior: Very, very much like new. No cracks in dash. No tears or stains in the seats. Headliner is clean. All seats move/operate properly. Carpet is mint. Even smells like new...obviously owned by a non-smoker. Honestly, the interior of this car is as close to perfect as I could ever imagine that you'll find. In fact, I'd say that it looks very much the same as it did when it rolled out of the factory doors in Detroit. Electronics: All electronic function properly, including the power window switches, the convertible top switch, power mirror switches, stereo/cd, cruise control, and steering wheel controls for stereo and cd. Glass: No cracks, no chips. Convertible Top: We generally avoid convertibles because the tops can be problematic and expensive. But we made an exception when we saw this one! The top is in excellent condition; is not at all dried or cracked (obviously stored inside); is water-tight; and its electronics operate absolutely perfectly! Tires/rims: Alloys rims on high quality Goodyear Eagles. The tires easily have 70-80% remaining. To sum it up: This is a beautiful 35th Anniversary Camaro that is perfect as a collector car; a daily driver; or a fun summer vehicle.
