I bought this car about two years ago as project car, and i went a little overboard spending about $10000 on it. 1983 rabbit cabriolet with 1.8l g60 motor and calloway turbo kit. The motor is freshly rebuilt with about 1000 miles. T o 4 b turbo, intercooled, 42 lbs. ford motorsport injectors( green tops) , 268/260 cam, 3 bar fpr, custom sns tuning chip, forged 8 1 wossner pistons, new cis fuel pump, evolution wastegate, hks sqv3 blow off valve, turbo smart eboost boost controller/guage, new water pump, new oil pump, black forest polyurethane green motor mounts, new shifter linkage, custom carbon ceramic clutch, new fly wheel, new hub earings, crossed drilled rotors front and rear, newly rebuilt calipers, new heater core , new blower motor, new power window motors, euro sport upper and lower stress bars . The car makes about 200whp on about 18lbs of boost, the motor is capable of alot more. The motor is very healthy, oil pressure is high , idle is very smooth, considering all the work done to it and no idle stabilizer valve. The car is clean, there is nos signs of rust, body is in pretty good condition. Tires and rims are new as well .I have spent alot of time and money on this car.
