I have here my 1971 chevy chevelle malibu .ill start with the best. it has 42k documented actual miles. it was bought new in haverhill mass. at bill deluca chevrolet.aug 31 1971.i have the protecto plate ,owners manual,waranty book original keys and build sheet. the car was owned by an older couple who drove it very little for the 28 years they owned it.and was sold to buyer #2 in jan of 2000. title showed 33,472 as actual miles in jan 7th 2000.he drove it for 2 years and parked it and only moved it when he moved, up untill i bought it from him and vehicle now shows 42395. the car is in what appears to be its original green paint i could find no signs of ever being wrecked.and dark green vinyl top which is in perfect condition not even a pinhole nothing. its perfect. the interior is black and the dash ,headliner ,door panels ,back seat are perfect and in amasing condition for being 40 years old.It has the original drivetrain.yes # matching everything.the only thing i could find not original is the breather and starter.The glass is all perfect and windows all roll up and down nicely. Now the bad even thou the car has been garaged most all its life its still 40 years old and made of metal.and its a chevelle.so it has the usual rust in the rear quarters and so they will need to be replaced and the drivers side front fender is bubbling in lower dog leg. pasenger side look ok except a small place on the very front where it looks like the hit the garage door or something it can be fixed. the hood,trunk,doors,arent bad there is some rust but there very useable.the front and rear bumpers are original and are perfect. they look new but are the original bumpers.the front grill is also perfect.the front bench seat is torn where driver sets. but all the rest of interior is really nice. even the carpet is in good shape for 40 years old. the floor pans have some areas that need attention. but trunk pan is pretty good a couple of small holes but not bad.the last owner put center line wheels and new tires but i think they look ugly but that just my opinion.it has a good motor and trans and 10 bolt rear-end. there has been no modifications to car at all. except new pioneer cass player.im sure i forgot something so ask away. im buying some comercial property so i need the cash. this car is perfect for ss clone or just leave it orginal .where you gonna find a 71 chevelle with 42k alot of people brag about having a low miles car but this one has the paperwork to prove it.my reserve is low so bid away. yes i have clear title.On Jul-01-10 at 08:57:05 PDT, seller added the following information: its 350 with 3 speed automatic, positract axle with 273 gears,power steering power brakes no air. electric clock,am radio,rear speaker.this is some of the info i got off build sheet.On Jul-02-10 at 15:13:07 PDT, seller added the following information: after doing some checking it is a 307 not 350. but is a 350 3 speed turbo trans and positrac rearend. i also was told by previous owner he had installed a new radiator because the original was coroded.On Jul-06-10 at 18:43:52 PDT, seller added the following information: i quess after over 3 days went buy stang7237 decided to retract his bid.must have been a deadbeat dreamer . i removed him from ever bidding on any of my listings. please folks this is not a game. dont bid if you dont have funds or wifes permission.theres alot of good bidders on here and your waisting our time.if you have 0 feedback i will remove your bid.On Jul-06-10 at 19:02:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had some questions about car so ill try and help. yes it runs and drives and shifts fine. no frame issues. brakes work fine.having said that ! this car has been setting most of its life and i would not trust it on a road trip.
