hello everyone, here is an amazing opportunity for a volvo lover. this is a 62 volvo 1800, assembled in england. these are super rare and are the holy grail as far as 1800's are concerned. from what i know(and that is very little) these were only made like this for 2 years in england and then production moved. on to the car, this one is just such a great car for a light resto or an amazing candidate for a concours car. from what i was told it is a low milage and as far as the title is concerned, its a one owner. was bought new in california and spent most of its life there, the owner moved up to seattle and brought his loved volvo with him. the car was driven very little and just recently decided to sell it. the 58,000 is believed to be original. the car just recently was sold to his neighbor, but he decided it wasent for him, and now i have it. so i think it has the original owners name on the title. i have a ton of paperwork including receipts, registrations, repairs etc. the car was repainted a little brighter red in the 70's and will need a repaint but truly has an amazing body on this car. the original color is red. there is only slight bubbling on the exterior of the car, no holes or through rust at all. the body is so super straight its quite amazing. the rear of the car looks to have a small dent in it, but thats it. so a repaint will be very easy. no panel replacement needed. underside of the car is quite nice with factory undercoating still there. jack points are super nice so no worrys there. all glass is nice. trim is very straight as are the bumpers but most should be rechromed to be nice again. they have weather checking on them. the interior needs some love, everything seems to be there but will need to be redone to make it nice again. also the passenger side floor needs to be replaced as it had a couple small holes, but previous guy cut them out so a patch will be needed. thats it for rust and thats amazing. just a small part of passenger side floor. the car will run and drive but the gas tank was taken out to be cleaned and needs to be hooked back up. last run about 6 months ago. overdrive car. this is truly a find and will make any vovlo guy super happy. this car deserves to be done right and that is why i cant keep it, i just dont have the time for it. also there is a ton of new and used parts included with the sale. there is even more stuff then whats in the pictures. this car is going to be a great deal for someone. also i do have a buy it now but am afraid to put it up due to scammers. so if you are very serious about the car you can reach me at 425 802 8682. but please call only if serious. i reserve the right to sell the car locally so please call me if serious. thanks for looking, and i might have forgotten a few things so please look at the pics and make up your mind about the car, and ask any and all questions.On Jun-30-10 at 14:28:07 PDT, seller added the following information:hello again, i forgot to mention this car has what i think is a factory alarm, very rare. you can see the bell next to the carbs on the fender well. i think you activate but turning a lock on the trunk. also i have another set of factory rims that go with the car. thanks again
