1975 Honda TL250

A good condition Honda TL250. I'm not positive if this is a 1975 or 1976 as they were virtually the same machine. Mechanically it is very sound as it starts easily and runs great, the only problem I'm aware of is at a cold start up the clutch is grabby. This is the case with most motorcycles I've owned but is worse with this one. I'm assuming this is a result of the clutch plates sticking together as after it is warmed up it is not an issue and disengages fine. Both wheels are straight, chain and sprokets look good. Cosmetically speaking the frame needs repainting (no rust though), the side panels replaced as they are missing, the fenders could be repaced (back is original / front is a preston petty) and the rear section of the exhaust replaced (it is quiet and functional but has suffered from moisture damage as seems to be the case with most of the TLs). Since I've owned the bike I have installed a new set of IRC tires, new shocks, and a OEM skid pan (it was missing). I rode this bike one time some 15 years ago at a BBQ and thought I had to have it when it came up for sale. I've been on it around my house a handfull of times (maybe 5 miles total at most) and realized trials is not for me so I'm sticking to duel sport bikes. No pink slip is available but I can provide a bill of sale to the new owner. It had a California green sticker at one time (F70 C70) as it is still on the rear fender. I assume it has been out of the system for some time and getting it registered should present no problem for the new owner. I really have no idea of the actually mileage as this bike was never fitted with an odometer. Even with it's age I assume it can't be to large an amount as the compression is good and it never shows any signs of smoking.
