Vehicle Detail

1925 Ford Roadster 1925 Ford Model T Steel Bodied Roadster We are offering at auction this 1925 Ford T-Roadster. This is a classic example of the early Model T/ Flathead V8 combination, but with a few character touches. It’s all steel original body is finished in standard Henry Ford black with red accents on the chassis and suspension pieces. The sturdy 59-A Flathead V8 sports a bright red block topped by a single carburetor on a vintage “X” intake manifold and is capped with an Edmunds chrome vented air cleaner. It sports Edmunds heads and custom fabricated exhaust headers that lead into straight pipes that makes it sound like an old race car. A cut-down later model Ford radiator shell surrounds a red painted grill. The Ford 3-speed manual transmission with a floor mounted shifter delivers power to the 2-speed Columbia rear axle, a common and desirable period accessory. The interior is finished in standard rolled and pleated brown leatherette with matching carpets. The beautifully painted faux burled wood dash and steering wheel are unique and add to the special character of this rod. The gauge cluster is by Stewart Warner and adorned with lovely pinecone etchings and carvings. The firewall is made from an old sign for industrial adhesives and lends a very cool low-rent period touch. A set of Red Ford ‘Model A’ wheels wrapped in blackwall tires and small chrome hubcaps finish the look on this very cool Roadster.
