Has been modified for extra power, but still needs some tweaking (carb, timing adjustment, etc.) to realize full potential. Only a few hundred miles on rebuilt engine. Bored .030 over Comp 272 cam Head work by Emo's in Alameda. Weber 32/36 2 bbl. carb on a Super Six intake Dutra duals exhaust manifold setup New exhaust Electronic ignition (GM) Mini starter Large radiator Engine drawbacks: Not good gas mileage - maybe about 15 mgp? Slight oil leak"Turbo" muffler is somewhat loud BODY: GT model Very straight body! Only a few small dings, though there are some rust holes in door jamb, wheel wells and trunk. Floor pans repaired Most weatherstripping replaced Body drawbacks: Windshield has fogging (layers separating); will need to be replaced at some pointRed primer paint, not very good quality; you may want to re-paint it Some rust holes in doorjams and lower wheelwells Extensive rust (many holes) in trunk floorpanBondo in rocker panels truck lid won't stay fully open when accessing trunk (I use a prop rod) SUSPENSION/BRAKES/TIRES: Disc brakes (swapped from early '70s A-body); not power brakes, but stops great! Front end completely rebuilt, with polyurethane bushings New rear shocks Only a few hundred miles on tires Suspension/tire drawbacks: Has a slight pull to left (brakes rub on driver's side) Poly bushings are squeakyspare tire has a bubble (bulge) in the sidewall TRANSMISSION/DRIVETRAIN: Automatic transmission Rare 8.25 Sure-grip rear end; 3.23:1 ratio Transmission drawbacks: Slips a little bit; needs to be adjusted, maybe rebuilt Kickdown not working INTERIOR: Customized with: New steering wheel Aftermarket tachometer and gauges (water/oil/temp) Headliner and dash pad in excellent condition (no rips) Console and dashboard repainted and look great Interior drawbacks: Gas gauge not accurate Speedometer doesn't work Back seats removed and replaced with a low plywood platform Front seats don't tilt forward (hard to access back seat area); but they can be modified to tilt Front seats dyed black, but they are peeling (Extra spray dye included) OTHER: Has original California black license plates (car originally sold in Burbank)Many extra parts, including shop manual on CD-ROM
