1967 (early vin too) Olds TORONADO Deluxe model very well loaded ! Target RED outside as well as the inside. (there are over 100 pix so if you cant view them all figure out how to so you can see them with settings and extra schroll bars on the right side) This beast runs great and drives well too for the most part. Been driven very little in the last 20 yrs. Motor sounds good and no smoke. The gas tank went south from sitting too long but we have the fuel pump running off a tank under the hood for now. Tires are ancient. Probably could use a tune up and carb rebuild but overall this is a great starting point and a great opportunity for someone to own one of Americas first FWD cars ever built with 385 HP and a boatload of torque. Older restoration, and youll see what looks like a 2 tone interior. The interior was done in ALL red front to back, what has happened over the years the interior has faded mostly on the carpet and vinyl making parts of the interior Tan looking now. So the interior is actually Red with Tan looking accents now. Really, it doesnt look too bad, very 70s actually. BUT you could redo the interior how you want if you win the car. Maybe re-dye the faded areas or ? We did touch up some of the carpet and one door panel with some carpet dye, and it came out pretty nice actually. Chances are you wont find a bit of rust on this TORO !! Ive been all over this car, under , in the trunk and other then seeing some signs of older body work in a few areas There is or has been NO RUST on this car. Its a true AZ Car. Brakes feel good, but PB Booster may have a leak. And they do need to be bleed. Going to try to bleed them this week. Headlights not popping up. Paint is old and baked. This is not a restored car by any means, but most all the electronics in and out are working and would clean up and restore nicely. Also easier then most out there for sale. We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great TORO that once fixed a little would be a great daily driver It is a running driving example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets ! Check out All the pics and then look for more info AFTER the pics etc. There are over 100, make sure you use the schroll bar on the side to see them all. Windshield has a few cracks from the heat, I can install a brand new one for you for $300 locally. Shows 102k on the odometer, I believe it to be original knowing this cars history for the last 30 yrs. Also, I may have a line on a good used gastank for about $25 plus shipping too out of Nebraska if the buyer needs. Keep in mind its a 40 yr old Toro and Not restored. Chrome and Stainless in GREAT shape AC / PS / PW PDL / Cruise and much more ! All not working, but 99% complete. We are not the ones who painted the engine its current blue color, it was like that when we got it. So there you have it, the pics show very well what to expect. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart.
