Up for bid, very nice driving all original 1972 Ford Pinto Runabout. This car has the 2000 CC engine with a 4 speed transmission, and both are in great condition with no smoking, and only a very super small oil leak. The car runs very strong with very good power, and I also just completed a 400 mile Route 66 fun run with no problems. The body is very straight, rust free, with shinny very good original medium bright yellow paint with only some small cosmetic scratches+dents. I bought this car about a year ago from the original ower who lives in southern California, and the car was in need of a lot of just TLC when I received it.. The original owner put most of the miles on this car back in the 1970`s driving(mostly highway miles)back and forth from work, and it was always garaged. The luxury decor interior is very good with a good headliner, door panels, very nice original seats with no issuss. The dash has one crack in the center and two small screw holes on the left side, but that is covered by the new dash mat. The original Ford factory carpet is still decent with only one noticeable tear under the drivers seat, and has new carpet just installed in the rear area. The brakes are in good condition with about 40% left, and clutch the works perfect with no issues. The car drives straight+smooth, and stops straight. All lights work as they should, and the heater works, but not very well, and i`m not sure why. All the factory tinted glass is in very good condition with very cool optional rear flipper quarter window. Also included with this car is all the repair receipts, complete 1972 Ford repair manuals, original dealers invoice, original owers manual, original warranty card, original invoice window sticker, original pink slip, original California blue+gold plate, and fairly new car cover.
