Hello. This vehicle is being sold to support TortoiseCycle. Please visit http://tortoisecycle.wordpress.com/ This is a 1952 Firetruck to Housetruck conversion which was not completed. Light and siren holes have been temporarily patched with caulk. The motor is a very strong stovebolt straight six. Four speed transmission with a two speed rear end. I removed the exhaust manifold to have it reconditioned, and have not re-installed it. Interior floor surface rust, but no through rust. The interior ceiling cardboard is gone. I extended the chassis by six feet. There is a leak in the brake line at the driverside rear wheel. No brake ot tail lights. Needs a new battery. Work on it within two days and drive it away, or haul it. Truck is located in Galena, IL. - about 45 minutes east of Dubuque, IA., off of route 20, on Devil's Ladder Road. Sold as is, where is.
