1999 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY XL 4 Door 7.3L V8 DIESEL Extended Cab - Long Bed - Work Truck Low Miles = 122,369 miles & Just passed California Smog check This is a great running work truck. A powerful 7.3 Liter Diesel V8 engine that doesn't hesitate even with a full load. It has an automatic transmission with overdrive that shifts strong, and dual batteries in the engine compartment. This truck has cold A/C, and never overheats, even on a super hot day, as well as a great heater. It has power steering that steers very straight, and four wheel disc brakes. It's very comfortable to drive. The cloth bench seat has a fold down center arm rest with drink holders on it, which is great, or you can leave it up and carry a total of six passengers (including yourself). There is an extra place on the dash to plug in any 12 volt power system, like a laptop, vacuum, tools, or ??? It has a great Sony CD player with AM/FM radio, and hookups for MP3 player, amp, and other items. The drivers seat is a little worn from getting in and out. The dome light cover will not stay on because one end has a broken tab, easy replacement item. There is a pull out drink holder that the cover is broken. You can still pull it out to hold two drinks, but the cover only stays on when it's closed. Another easy fix. It does not have the original air cleaner installed. It has a different kind that I was told gives it more air flow, and cooler air into the engine, see photos. It's a pretty loud running International diesel engine, which I imagine is because of the type of air cleaner on it. The original air cleaner casing pieces will go to the new owner. The drivers seat is missing the lever that let you adjust the back of the seat. I just noticed there is a small chip in the tail light lens and another small chip in the driver's side turn signal lens. Neither of these is big enough to have to replace, or to get a ticket (I don't think). I you wish to see photos, let me know your email and I'll send you some. The body has scratches, some small dents, and the usual marks you get from a good work truck, see photos. I think the tail gate has been replaced, since the paint doesn't match, or it has been repaired. It has a trailer hitch ball on the rear heavy duty bumper, as well as a plug for trailer brake and running lights. It has a spare tire under the rear of the bed. The tires still have lots of mileage left on them. I would not hesitate to drive this truck cross country. I have just had it smogged, so you shouldn't have to. The registration is in my name and paid for till June 2011. I have not turned in the smog certificate and title yet. If I do, it will be a couple weeks till I receive the title. I can sell it with a "Bill Of Sale" and the title I have, or you can go with me to AAA or the DMV and we can transfer it there very quickly. There are no liens on this title. I have already paid for everything to transfer into my name, plus the tags for another year. I just have to turn in the papers some time this week. Either way, it's not a problem. I have used this truck to move a 5 bedroom house full of furniture and over 300 boxes of stuff, and driven around 1000 miles, without a single problem.
