Here we have a true survivor ! Its a 1987 volkswagen Scirocco 16valve from georgia. This car is very clean rust wise. The underneath is very clean with no rust or rot. The body is very solid but does have some damage in a few places. The corner of the hood and fender, below license plate area and a small dent by right taillight. I have a clean fender that is included. The sunroof needs the cables replaced. A used sunroof is included. This is one of few that have not been modified and butchered these days. It has it original rims with all 4 center caps and cap wrench. The interior is in very good condition for its age. It does have some damage to drivers bolster were the seat belt rubs.Brand new shift boot.The odometer just started intermittently working on and off. Common problem but milage is only a few thousand miles off. Currently its 82000 miles. Has decent tires. No radio. Does have power steering, and ac. Air does not work. The 16valve engine has plenty of power! It pulls nice and hard. No abnormal knocks or noises. Distributor does leak oil in the cap and sometimes causes a rough idle. I was advised the timing belt , clutch and brakes were done last year.The transmission shifts great and has no noises in any gears! I have a box of misc parts that goes with the car.Extra fuel pump, top of center consol, glove box, misc. The rear bumper is not the correct bumper cover. It is off a golf gti. This is a must see and drive. Ive been into vws for many years and this is one clean rocco.I just have to many of them..lol. This car is sold as is were is no warranty or returns.
