1988 FIERO GT RED with tan interior. I am the second adult owner of this fabulous fun car and have driven it on only nice days for the past 5 years. It has been well cared for, always garaged with a car cover, and had no mechanical or electrical problems. I purchased this 5 years ago in San Luis Obispo, CA and it had 14K miles on it. I had it shipped by an auto car carrier to my home in Fort Worth, TX. It is rust free and never been repainted or touched up. I have owned 3 1988 Fiero GT'S in my life and I was one of the original 1988 special edition Yellow GT owners. I enjoyed that car for 10 years. I have had 2 with standard transmissions and 1 with an automatic transmission. I believe they are one of the best cars made by GM. They are still are very unique with the low profile, mid-engine design, and plastic body makes the car and outstanding value. The car has never failed a State Inspection and it is current. Owning an older car has lower insurance rates which make it considerable less expensive to keep for a fun and a exciting experience. The car is in perfect shape and the only item which does not work is the console cigarette lighter which doesn't matter to me since I don't smoke. The air conditioning blows cold and the car drives like brand new. Any maintenance parts required are readily available from GM or the Fiero Store. Being a 6 cylinder motor the car gets good gas mileage. The 1988 Fiero GT is considered the best year with the upgraded suspension and larger gas tank. You won't see yourself coming and going and the styling is contemporary. Additional item available with the sale I personality liked the Fiero with different wheels so I purchased Scion TC Chrome Wheels and mounted Bridgestone low profile tires. No alterations were necessary since the 5 bolt lug pattern is identical and the outside circumference of the original Fiero Eagle GT tires are the same dimension. The chrome wheels are easier to clean and I think they look nicer then the stock wheels. THE TWO OPTIONAL WHEEL DEALS OFFERED (SEE LAST 3 PHOTO'S) 1. Whoever buys the car for the "BUY IT NOW PRICE" can have both sets of wheels (Stock and Scion) at no additional charge and can decide which ones look best. 2. If the car sells less then the "BUY IT NOW PRICE" whoever buys the car can chose which wheels they prefer and I would be glad to install them are no change in the purchase price. I will then sell the wheels not purchased with the deal on Ebay separately.
