up for auction today is this near mint 1976 cadillac superior high top ambulance. It purchased it from the county I live in. It has 74,876 miles. It is in excellent condition with no cancer in it. Only has couple spots of surface rust. Body is near perfect with only minor dings and one dent in the left rear quarter panel that would be an easy fix. Chrome is all in nice shape, except left rear quarter trim is gone. Windows are all perfect, and windshield is brand new. Upholstery is in perfect condition. All the lights and sirens work. Has a pa-20 siren system. Original am/fm radio works as well as electric antenna. Police band radio is not in it, only the control head, mic, and speaker. Curtains in the rear are brand new. All cabinet doors and such still there and function, but lamintate on cabinet does need some repair. Still has the gurney(stretcher with wheels) in it. This car has good tires on it, and runs great. Has the 501ci engine. Would not be scared to jump in this car and drive it anywhere. This car is probably one of the best preserved ambulances you will find around. Was owned by county since new until about six months ago. I have to many cars and wife said it has to go. I will consider reasonable offers. Any questions feel free to e-mail me.
