I have owned this car for over 25 years in that time it has only been driven in nice weather during summer. When I first purchased it I had the engine completely redone meaning, the case was line bored, crank polished, a complete engine kit, also added a mild cam and the dual carb setup. We drove it for a couple of summers had a blast, its a great eye catcher, but then we started a family. The car got stored in a pole barn in Wrightstown and there it sat for around 15 years. Within the last 5 years it was pulled out of storage and it took about 3 years to work the bugs out of it while driving the kids to and from soccer and baseball games. 3 years ago I drove to where we store it for the winter, by this time it was running really nice, and stored it for the winter. In spring when I went to pull it out of storage it would'nt run right and now has an oil leak. That was two summers ago and I have not done anything with it so its time to let it go. Besides the engine problem, which may be minor since it broke while sitting in storage, the tires are weathered checked, the rims have some rust, the floor has been patched, the windshield has a stone chip, all four gears and reverse work but it does pop out of reverse and shifting is sloppy, and the paint has a few chips/small dents. On the good side the car is complete, the top is good and with some time and work the car could quickly be back on the road. Even though it is not all original it is a blast to drive and you will be noticed in a good way. Please only bid if you are serious. This is a no reserve auction high bid will own it. It will need to be trailered or towed, it does tow well. Payment at pick-up cash perfered will take a bank check no peresonal checks.
