You are bidding on a used 1941 Dodge power wagon that has been converted to a winch/tow truck. It comes with two booms. A long one and a short one. The short boom can either be mounted in the middle of the bed for a tow truck application or at the end of the bed for a winch operation. This truck was built into a service truck in the early 50's. It was owned by the same garage for 40 + years. It starts easy and does not smoke. It is a 12 volt . The winch has both forward and reverse. Winch is driven off the pto. The doors open and close smoothly. The body is in very good shape with no rust through. It has spent all of its life is a dry climate. The frame has benn reinforced with extra steel for strength. It would be a great candidate for restoration. The transfer case and front differential has been removed and a metal plate put in its place when it was converted to a tow truck. The brakes are currently not working. The transmission shifts smoothly. The tires on it are from the 1950's and would need to be replaced. It has single wheels in pictures but I have two extra rims to make it dual tires. Some of the glass will need to be replaced. I bought this truck with plans of restoring it but it became very handy when I needed it to build my steel building. It ran and the booms were a great help with the steel beams.
