This auction is for (1) 1998 Ford Expedition, 4x4, V8, automatic, in great condition! 1998 Ford Expedition Ltd - One-Owner - 8-cyl / 5.4L Engine - 4-Spd Automatic Trans 191,500 Miles - Power Windows / Mirrors / Locks - Tilt Wheel - Air Conditioning - Leather - Body Lift? Owned since new by the State of Connecticut, it has been very well maintained in order to meet strict federal & state guidelines! Engine & Mechanicals These are great trucks! This 1998 Ford Expedition is equipped with a V8/5.4L engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive! It is in overall great running condition! The engine runs very well and has plenty of power, and the transmission operates very well - smooth and responsive. The 4-wheel drive system (with optional full-time AWD) works well (never plowed with). It is also equipped with a trailer hitch/receiver, but doesn't appear to have ever been towed with. It appears to have a body lift, and the rear springs were recently replaced! I find no issues with the exhaust or suspension, and the brakes have recently been serviced. It runs/drives & handles great, both highway & city. All options & accessories work well, and the AC blows cold. The Goodyear tires (245/75R16) are excellent with over 80% tread remaining! Body & Interior The overall body is in great condition - NO Rot. The factory silver paint still looks good, and cleans/buffs up great! No accidents or body damage with this truck, with the exception of a small ding on the passenger-side fender (visible in pic). The underside has some light surface rust that would be expected, but no rot, and NO Leaks (see pics). The interior is in overall great condition! Dashboard & components are excellent! Seats are also excellent, with the exception of a small crease starting to show on the drivers seat. The premium sound system works/sounds great!
