Vehicle Detail
hello all, here is a 71 fuel injected volvo 1800e for sale, let me start out by saying i am reluctantly selling this car as i had big plans for it but my current situation does not allow me to keep it, so off it goes. this is a yakima washington desert car its whole life hence the sun faded interior. it hasent been run much in recent years so could use a tune up. has good oil pressure and the engine runs well. drives pretty good as well but it does need to be tuned up. i would say that this is a great project car for a amateur enthusiast as it is not need a complete resto and could even be a driver now. it does have its issues though, im not going to tell you this is the best car in world and all the wonderful selling points people say here on ebay. THIS IS A PROJECT CAR. the body is pretty nice and the paint looks great but it has a couple of small dings and dents here and there, nothing super noticeable but there there. the trim on the side has door dings in it. most chrome is in decent shape for the age but for a show car it would have to be redone. not perfect but very nice for a driver. the interior is where it needs some help. carpet is nice but faded. front seats need recovered, needs headliner, has dash cracks. please look at pictures, with some front seats and headliner it would look alright and just fine for a driver.also i am missing a turn signal. i have a bunch of parts that will go with it, new center emblems for the wheels, i have a supposedly rebuilt manuel tranny with overdrive. as the one in the car grinds occasionally going into reverse, dosent pop out or anything. all in all this is a fine car and with minimal work it would be great. turns loots of heads when driving it. just think of it as 40 year old car and thats what it is. this will be great for someone and with minimal effort will fetch big bucks and these cars are gaining in value everyday. i also have a set of seats that have better foam that can go with. also i do have the car for sale locally so i reserve the right to end auction at any time. you can reach me at 425 802 8682 if you are serious about the car. please do not call me asking to trade your lifted camaro with a 305. please ask any and all questions as i may have for got some things. thanks for lookingOn Jun-08-10 at 16:56:06 PDT, seller added the following information: hello all, i would like to add a few things real quick, this car is a very good car, i didnt mean to make it sound like it was a huge project, it is just old and needs attention to bring it back to where it was. does run and drive, brakes work, clutch work, gauges work and even the radio works fine. as far as rust goes there is a few bubbles under the rockers on the bottom, on the under side, not in sight, dosent look bad at all. just a couple of bubbles. but that seems to be about it. this is a real good start to a fun driver that just needs some maintenance. so no its not a huge pile or anything like that. thanks again
