Vehicle Detail
Out from a twenty six year indoor storage comes a triple black 1972 Lincoln that is in great shape. The car is all original with 87,474 miles Owner passed away and had the car in storage since 1984. Original triple black combo (paint, roof top, interior). New paint job with the original black enamel, just done three weeks ago. The car can be buffed in another four to five weeks which was recommended from the body shop giving the paint job a final gloss finish. They did a good respectable job all the trim was removed along with the bumpers, a complete professional job. All chrome has no signs of rust, and the frame and body has no rust, this is a Montana car, dry climate stored inside for most of its life. All glass is clear with no pitts or cracks. The black leather interior is in great shape, no tears or rips. Drivers door pull strap has a few cracks and works fine. All power options work well. Headlight eyes open and close as they should. Carpet and headliner in great shape. The interior lights and lighters all work. Engine is the 460 4V runs quiet and strong at any speeds, and rides straight. New tires with 10 miles (hankooks). This car is not in showroom condition and is not perfect, but with a little more work it could be. Clear title with death certificate all notarized. What a great classic ready to be driven home. After twenty six years of storage its been unmolested and it shows. Bid to win. On Jun-08-10 at 16:52:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had some questions on the paint job, it is not perfect it does have some orange peel look to it. It has not been buffed or waxed yet which will help the paint look more glossy. The shop used a gallon and a half of black enamel urethane with a epoxy primer it was block sanded too.
