1966 Nash Ambassador Convertible unmolested Rust Free AZ car Factory: rare V8, PS, PT Although this car has been driven very little over the last 25 years, it wouldnt take much to make it a nice daily driver. This car reminds me of the 66 Lincoln Continental !! Car runs & drives, but brakes need adjusting and fuel pickup in the tank is plugged. Im going to try to unplug it this week. Its currently running off a small container of fuel under the hood. Car is very complete but PT not working at the moment (checking that this week too, maybe just a fuse) Gauges all seem to work, even the radio works ! The AZ SUN has been hard on the top fabric and interior But the sheetmetal is almost flawless from rust. Minor rust inside the trunk. All glass is good except windshield (Also checking on replacement Cost on that this week too) Original color was Frost White but was painted the current red back in the early 80s, which is now baked. Wouldnt take much to be a daily driver and not much more to be considered mildly restored !! ONLY 1790 built, how many are left ? 150 ? Drivetrain feels great for its age. We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great AMC that once fixed a little would be a great daily driver It is a running driving example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets !
