This car came to us in 2006, and lots of high-caliber work has been done since. The frame was repainted and to a large extent reconditioned with the body off the frame, and the body is now bolted back to the frame. In the car is rebuilt engine, which we have seen run, and a rebuilt transmission. We cannot overstate just how solid the metal on this car is -- there is very little surface rust, and no structural rust. Even the rocker panels are solid. The front bumper has been rechromed, and the rear bumper is in excellent condition. All of the hard-to-find and expensive details are present, like the hood ornament with glass intact, front signal lens, and horn ring. Chrome window and windshield trim are all there, some of it still on the car and all of it in good, unbent condition. Included with the car are tons of new parts. You will have a restored gas tank, restored radiator, all-new glass, all-new Steele seals, and lots of interior details. This car will roll right onto your truck/transporter as a self-contained unit. Whoever finishes assembling this car will have a high-quality automobile for long-term enjoyment. We are not parting this car out. The winner of the auction wins the whole car and all its parts. The chassis was wirebrushed and repainted. The steering is good. New copper brake tubing has been installed on chassis. Rebuild kits for master cylinder and all four wheels included plus 2 or 3 sets of new brake lining and at least one set of new flex hose.
