Vehicle Detail
1968 Dodge SUPER BEE Here is one fantastic looking vintage MOPAR. This is a 1968 Dodge Coronet 440. The car runs strong with a BIG BLOCK 400 and ice cold air conditioning. I believe the car is a SUPER BEE clone and was originally a 318 Coronet 440. Clearly lots of money has been spent on this car over the years. The car runs and drives great! It is not a concourse show car, rather a wonderful looking car to get in and go! The paint looks awesome from 20 feet. Up close there are some nicks and chips. The vinyl top looks fantastic near new and the cars glass…excellent! The body is very straight and the original floor pans and trunk pan are solid! I have found no rust issues with this car to speak of. The 400 BIG BLOCK runs strong with no knocks, or puffing smoke, and it’s dressed up a bit. It sounds awesome with duel Flow Master Exhaust. The car has smooth power steering and cold blowing Air Conditioning. No power brakes. The transmission shifts like it has a mild shift kit in it. Inside the car has nice looking upholstery and headliner. The dash pad has a few cracks in it and all the original gauges have been “blacked out” and aftermarket gauges have been added and all work well. The driver’s door isn’t opening from out side. I am reaching through the wing window currently. The driver’s glass is currently stuck up. Thank god the AC works! The window crank on the passenger side is missing. Yes…there are a few little things that need some attention. All in all this is a fantastic classic MOPAR that really turns heads and is a pleasure to drive. Call Hawkeye with your questions before bidding at 808-205-8414. The car is in San Antonio Texas.
