This Scout has gone thru Hundreds of hours of labor and Thousands of dollars in parts to become this Head turning, Show Quality ride. It is a frame off restomod with many improvements over stock. With a clean burning Buick 3.8 and a T-5 5-speed manual transmission, it has excellent performance plus good fuel mileage. The original 1961 fully boxed frame has been modified to include new Crossmembers for the Engine and Transmission, an IFS Suspension, it has been 'C' notched over the rear axle, then it was all repainted and a 1966 tub was mounted back on it using New Polyurethane Body Bushings. The windshield, door glass, regulators, wing window assemblies, latches. etc., were all removed prior to the body and paint work. The hood was chemically stripped, sanded, and painted with an Etching, Epoxy primer prior to the cowl installation. It was installed using Fusor SMC. It is vented under the hood. A set of Hydraulic Hood Struts were Custom Installed so no Prop Rod is needed to hold the Hood Open, plus opening and closing the hood is much nicer. I have never seen a Scout as originally rust free as this one. The floors are all Original with all of their Original X Bracing underneath. It runs and drives out great, and has no leaks of any kind. It is a lot of fun to drive and is ready to hit the road. It comes with a Clear, Numbers Matching Texas State Title. It is registered, but there is no window sticker as I just put a new windshield in it. There are have only been 25 miles put on the car since it has been finished, and it has never been smoked in. It has not been in any shows yet, but I am sure that will change soon enough. I will need a 500 dollar deposit by PayPal within 24 hours of the auction ending.
