Thank you for looking at my ad. I am selling my 1998 M3, not because I want to but I need to. Nobody ever wants to sell an M3. I am trying to free up some extra cash to pay off some debts/bills, so I need to sell my baby. I purchased this car just under 2 years ago from my mechanic who has been servicing the vehicle for quiet some time while the previous owner owned the car and while I owned it. When I bought the car it had roughly 90,000 miles on it and it now only has just over 95,000. As you can tell I haven't driven it much. It has been garaged while I owned it and from the previous owner. I normally only drive it on the weekends when the weather is nice. Since I didn't put too many miles on the car, I still changed the oil 2 or 3 times a year with synthetic. The paint still shines like day one. There is a small scratch on the passenger side and two or three on the trunk lid, neither are that big. A new Die Hard international battery was installed a few months ago. I still have the factory tape deck if your interested and still use tapes. Currently an after market Alpine head unit is installed with MP3 capability and a rear USB connector for use with a USB key or an IPOD/MP3 player. The vehicle does have the factory 6CD changer in the trunk that some times works. I haven't tried using it since I got it. It plays CD's but sometimes jams while switching discs. Having MP3 and USB capability I never had the need for the CD changer. The car is equipped with the Harmon Kardon stereo system that sounds awesome. All of the speakers are factory and I don't see any signs of any after market stereo equipment ever being installed besides the Alpine head unit that I installed shortly after purchasing the car. I have no idea why a tape deck came with this car. The interior is in good shape, no rips, tears or burns. The left side of the driver seat is starting to show some wear as you can probably see in the pictures. Besides that the rest of the interior is in great shape especially for being 12 years old. The car has Sumitto tires all around. I would guess they have around 1/2 the tread on them. Since the car was just inspected they will definitely last until next inspection perhaps a little longer depending on how you drive. As seen in the picture the car has a full size spare that I dont think was ever used, at least there are no signs of it ever being mounted to the car. The car handles great, there is no turn this car cant handle. The car is equipped with power door locks (heated), windows, seats, moon roof and mirrors. It has the central locking system. On-Board computer with multi-information display unit, heated front leather seats that work. Factory alarm system. I have 2 sets of keys with remote transmitters. The factory flashlight that plugs in the glove box still works after 12 years, talk about built to last. The built in flash light on one of the car keys still works as well. Everything in/on the car works from the engine to the light bulbs. I have the original window sticker and all of the manuals that came with the car when it was new. I have sold 2 other cars on ebay in the past so I'm no stranger to the process. I would be willing to travel up to 100 miles to complete transfer of the vehicle. If you need the vehicle shipped to you, that will be your responsibility to arrange but I'll assist any way I can with the pick up. A car I sold before was purchased from someone in Canada and I worked with the delivery truck to arrange a time and place to meet and helped load it onto the truck. A $500 deposit is required via paypal within 24 hours of the auctions end. Transfer/Pick up of the vehicle is requested to be completed no later than 10 days after the end of the auction.
