You are bidding on a 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited. This is a non-smokers car. Overall, in nice condition for it's age and an engine that runs like a top. Has been regularly serviced and I am the orginal owner. OVERVIEW: Never a company to take success for granted, Chrysler not only tweaked the base-level JX and midline JXi for '98--it also introduced a new luxury model: the Sebring Convertible Limited which is what you are bidding on. The Limited offers many luxury-line features as standard equipment, including chrome-plated cast-aluminum wheels, "Rose Zebrano" woodgrain interior accents, a beige-and-agate inside color scheme with perforated leather-trim seats, a padded console armrest, electro-luminescent lighting on the instrument cluster, Auto Stick, Traction Control, High End paint (Bright Platinum Metallic), Infinity High End (6 CD) sound system, and special "Limited" exterior badges. INTERIOR: Sound system is a in-dash 6 CD Changer Infinity that has a powerful amp. One speaker sounds blown but everything else is great. A/C and Heat - works great...very cold air. Typical for these cars is the fan speed resistor needing replacement. The high speed works great, but the resistor controls the the low and med speed. I replaced this a few years back and it was very easy - right under the glove box and you can find the part for about $25 All the power windows and door locks work very well. Seats are the Limited two tone leather trimmed. All seats are in very good condition with the exception of the rear passenger side. It does have a rip that has been repaired with leather repair. Door panels have the upgraded Limited sport two tone look. The drivers side panel does have a bit of splitting up top, but it is not that noticable and does not affect performance. The dash is completly crack free and in excellent condition (car was kept in garage most of it's life) The instrumentation is a very cool, limited white back look. LIghts up blue at night. Looks great. The carpet is in good condition as are the floor mats. All gauges are in very good working order with NO warning lights illuminated. EXTERIOR: Cloth Top with Glass Window - No Leaks or holes. Seams have been sealed with silicon. Electric top works flawlessly It does have several door dings, paint chips, and two larger dents (on passenger and driver side). I have tried to illustrate these in the pictures. For the age, the paint is in decent shape. Chrome wheels are fantastic and in excellent condition. No pitting or any rust. Front tires have good tread, rear tires need to be replaced in about 1,000 miles. There is a small ding on the windshield that has been filled. All the lights and lenses are clean and in good shape ENGINE: Engine is a fast 2.5L V6 SOHC 24V - has been serviced on a regular basis and runs well. No noise or clicking. Transmission shifts well with good pick up. Has an Autostick that will allow you to manually shift gears (clutchless) if you wish. BACKGROUND: I have owned the car since I bought it at brand new. It has been very well taken care of and was my every day driver for several years. Most of the miles have been highway and this has been a very reliable vehicle. It has never been in any type of major accident. Last year, it was my daughter's college car. While at school, apparently the students had a hard time parking and did put dents on both the passenger and driver side panels from when a driver next to her bumped into the car while parking. Since it was a college car, we did not bother getting them fixed, but would think that a good body shop could easily pull them out. The car has never been in snow or salt and has spent it's life in Atlanta. This car has never stranded any of us and has many more good years on the motor.
