The Volvo 240 is one of the best vehicles ever built in terms of overall reliability and durability. The 240's come with a solid frame construction, heavy duty suspension components, heavy duty transmission, four wheel disc brakes, and is quite simply an overbuilt vehicle. The bullet proof single overhead camshaft 2.3 liter inline four cylinder low revving engine is a very durable non interference motor. This means it does not produce any outside electrical interference. Every part of this vehicle is built to last for a long time. The heavy duty AW 71 transmission could have been used in a truck because it is so strong and durable. If you take care of a 240, it'll run for a million miles, literally. Volvo stopped producing the frame on frame construction because these vehicles simply last too long and are too durable. Volvo stopped producing vehicles like this because they last too long, after all Volvo is in the new car business. Call any mechanic, they will surely tell you a 240 is one durable vehicle. The motor has no ticking or any such noise. This vehicle has been taken care of properly. These vehicles were produced like a truck, built to withstand Scandinavian winters and unpaved roads. Being driven in Midwest America is a cake walk for a vehicle like this. When a Volvo 240 has been properly taken care of (like this one), the mileage is irrelevant.

Insurance: The person purchasing the vehicle must have written proof provided to us by the auto insurance company or with their letterhead on it provided by you that the purchaser currently has the state minimum auto insurance on another vehicle, or that the vehicle being purchased has been insured. If you currently have insurance on another vehicle it takes 15 minutes to add an additional vehicle to the policy which includes the insurance company faxing or emailing us proof of coverage. A current insurance card will be fine.

If the purchaser of the vehicle cannot provide any of the required forms of insurance, the vehicle will be transferred Title Only. If there is no proof of insurance provided, Connor Motor Sales will not provide a license plate. This is a federal law which all dealers must abide by.
