Vehicle Detail
1969 Camaro project, fender tag reads 12437---X44---76/76 PNT------Running/movable condition, newer HEI 350 4bbl/350 turbo just bolted in/quick wired right now, very strong runner, and lot drives. I believe that 76/76 is the original yellow it's wearing under the flat black primer. Solid front and rear subframes, underhood/inner fender are super solid and dry, original trunk floor has one small spot through, but easily saved..solid enough to jump up and down in, looks almost perfect----Bodywork needed..front fenders (dented mostly, all mountings solid, inner door/hinge are rock solid)----rear quarters( rusty, but not gone..) ---floorboards-(very rusty, needs all 4) Interior is there, perfect rear seat, non-original buckets up front, dash/gauges are original and intact, horseshoe shifter/console is hooked up and working. Brakes work when you add fluid....otherwise it will leak out over time. Tires and wheels are just there to move it around. Front and rear chrome bumpers in good shape (driver quality) Underside has surface rust, but spring mounts, subframes, and front end/suspension are all solid and will not need replacing. Trunk lid, hood, front header all rust-free and useable----Clear title, readable vin tag, and fender tag present----It will start up, drive around the block right now, but is not roadworthy by any means, old exhaust is just hanging, brakes stop you, but that's it. Both doors open close right, and are in great shape, no need to replace, inner door area dr. side is perfect, pass. side needs a patch right in the corner-----Top, filler panels, glass, etc all in good shape, no rot where the v-top was, or around the rear window or trim, just floorboards and quarters rust wise, f. fenders dent wise...everything else should be able to be saved just fine with a little bodywork--I priced out the panels, $1000-$1200 will buy everything metal needed (and good quality stuff) and the interior will need dr./pass door panels, carpet and headliner to be a driver (rear seat, nice, rear panels, good/driver quality) I've tried to paint an accurate description, good and bad, but really can't stress enough how nice and solid this Camaro is, a week in any shop and the topside could be completly straight and ready for primer, underside depending on how far you went, could be made to happen with brakelines, exhaust, maybe fuel lines (orig. gas tank holds fuel, gauge works, and is hooked up running the car right now) Take a look, ask me any questions, Thanks
