This auction is for a 1995 Chevy Blazer which belongs to a friend of mine. This was his family's personal vehicle but it needs some repair and with two little ones at home they have decided to just sell it as is. Over all the Blazer is in decent shape. The interior is very nice with only one small flaw that I could find on the side of the driver seat. It could use some cleaning but overall it is very nice. The tires are very nice with very few miles on them. I would put them at 80% or better. It recently had the front brakes replaced as well as the alternator, spark plugs and wires. The problems it has are that it does have some rust on the quarters behind the rear wheels and it also have some rust on the rockers, lower doors, and some surface rust up underneath. The engine needs some repair as the Spider injection system isn't functioning correctly. It runs but is dumping to much fuel into the engine making it smoke and foul plugs. The smoke is black with some blueish smoke mixed in. The AC compressor clutch is also making some noise, I believe it has a bearing going bad. This blazer can be fixed and probably has a lot of years of life left in it. My friend just doesn't have the extra cash to put into it. It would make a great parts vehicle, as it has the nice interior and other then the rust mentioned it doesn't show any sign of collision or damage. The drivetrain other then the injector problem works well, trans, and rears all seam fine. The tires alone are worth a good bit of money. It was inspected till the end of last month.
