2006 TRIUMPH THRUXTON THE PERFECT CAFE RACER. LOW MILES. GREAT CONDITION! Named for the legendary racetrack where Triumph was king, the Thruxton captures the classic cafe racer style but provides all the performance, ease and security of a modern bike. The Thruxton is Triumph’s sportiest Modern Classic, and authentic café racer delivering a unique Triumph experience. Low rise bars, a sporting riding position, 18” spoked wheels, megaphone style exhuast and a race inspired checkered stripe from tank to tail. But underneath the engineering is pure 21st century, with a clean-running 865cc parallel twin engine tuned for more performance and modern day reliability. The chassis too brings modern handling and braking thanks to adjustable 41mm forks and a 320mm floating front disc brake gripped by a twin piston caliper. Built on the Bonneville platform but with added performance and incredible style. This bike has been lovingly maintained and tastefully upgraded. Rear fender removal (orig fender included), upgraded rear suspension, British Customs pipes for that authentic English thunder. Super brace. Union Jack choke pull and clutch lifter. MAS engineering polished chain guard. OEM bar end mirrors (orig mirrors included). LED rear plate frame with integrated brake light for great visibility. And more stuff that I can't remember. This is an '06 so it was actually assembled in England, not Thailand. If you like the cafe racer style you will love this bike. It is not without a couple little scratches here and there, but all very minor. Never been dropped or crashed. I'm very sad to see this go, but I've got to make some room.
