I’m the original owner and purchased this beautiful Lunar Gray w/Charcoal Interior Jaguar XKR brand new on July 28, 2008 with 305 miles on it. That leaves 26 months of the factory 4 year/50,000 mile warranty remaining. Not that you would need it because I have not had a single reason to take this car to the dealer for anything (knock on wood). This is a fantastic ride and a real head turner, everyone wants to stop, look and talk about how beautiful this car is. As you can see in the pictures this XKR is in excellent condition with less than 9,100 miles on the clock (mileage may go up slightly due to driving this week). This XKR has never seen any hint of snow. It’s never been out of the garage after the streets have seen salt in the fall and doesn’t come out in the spring until many good rain storms have washed all winter salt from the roads. In fact, I think you could count on one hand the number of times it has been out in the rain during the summer months. It has never been in an accident and never seen the inside of an auto body shop, has no annoying squeaks, rattles or other unknown noises, has no door dings and the wheels have no curb rash. This car has never been smoked in and the back seats have never been used for anything. As you can see in the pictures it is presented in exceptional condition. I’ve replaced the stock yellow front turn signal and marker light bulbs with real silver coated bulbs for a much cleaner high end look (no more egg yoke looking lamps). This XKR is loaded with all the right options as follows: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL $2,200.00 – This is a sweet option that uses forward looking radar to match the speed of the XKR to traffic in front of you. If you approach slower traffic or if a slower car changes lanes to move in front of you it will slow the XKR (even applying the brakes if necessary) to maintain a driver set distance between the XKR and any traffic ahead. You don’t have to keep hitting the brakes and then resuming your cruise speed when the lane clears this car will take care of that for you. FORWARD ALERT – This option uses that same forward radar to alert you when you are approaching an obstacle in front of you. Let’s say the car in front of you stops suddenly and you just happen to be looking at your passenger’s smile, a warning lights up on the dash and an alarm warns you to take appropriate action. (A quick note about the above two options: Many of the XKR’s for sell don’t have this package. You may think that you don’t need them, but I can tell you, once you’ve used them you’ll wonder how you ever got along without them. They are great and the Forward Alert is a law suit saver. The easy way to tell if an XKR has this package is to just look at the steering wheel, if there is only one control knob and two buttons on the right side spoke of the wheel then the car does not have this package. If there are two control knobs and two buttons on the right side spoke of the steering wheel the car does indeed have the package. I personally wouldn’t even think of buying an XKR without the above two options.) PREMIUM SOUND PACKAGE $1,875.00 – This is the awesome sounding 525-watt Alpine Premium Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound with Sirius Satellite Radio. 19” SABRE WHEELS (with Tire Pressure Monitoring) $1,400.00 upgrade over wheels in Luxury Package – As you can see in the pictures the Sabre Chrome Plated wheels look awesome on the XKR. These wheels look fantastic while the car is in motion. One other benefit to the Sabre wheels is that you probably won’t see another XKR (or XK for that matter) with these wheels (everyone has the Senta wheels) LUXURY PACKAGE $2,100.00 – This package includes the following: 1) 16-way power seats (includes 4-way power lumbar support) 2) Adjustable seat bolsters 3) Leather instrument panel (very nice) 4) Soft-grain leather interior (much nicer than the pebble grain vinyl surfaces of the standard interior. Includes door panels, seats, dash etc.) 5) Leather gearshift knob 6) 19” Carelia alloy wheels (upgraded to the Sabre Chrome wheels above) (To spot the Luxury Package on an XKR other than looking for the smooth textured leather everywhere, look for five seat control switches in addition to the four seat memory buttons on the door panel. If you only see three seat control switches that means no Luxury Package) Other nice XKR STANDARD features are: 1) That sweet 420 HP Supercharged/Intercooled Engine 2) All Aluminum Body and Frame Components 3) 6 Speed Automatic Transmission 4) Steering wheel mounted Paddle Shifters 5) Active Exhaust (cutouts open upon acceleration) 6) Keyless Entry and Keyless Start 7) DVD Touchscreen Navigation (Touchscreen is hands down better and simpler than any other type of Navigation, Audio and Phone interface) 8) Bluetooth Wireless Technology (Hands free phone, phone book onscreen) 9) Bi Xenon Headlights with Powerwash 10) Adaptive Front Lighting – Self-leveling Headlights also turn with steering. Cornering lights illuminate when turning corners with or without turn signals activated. 11) Dual Zone Climate Control with Filter 12) Heated Seats 13) Dynamic Stability Control 14) And much, much, much more Look over the pictures below and decide if that “START ENGINE” button would feel good under your right index finger. If so, and you have the means go ahead and bid. This is a no reserve auction so you could be driving home in this awesome automobile, the best deal on a 2007 XKR on eBay.
