You are bidding on a very nice 1967 Buick Skylark that I purchased from the 2nd owner. I have always loved this body style and year of Buick. I purchased this car because it is a nice original car that has been treated very well. I have spent the last 3 years just moving it along toward show condition. I have finished it up to about 90% finished. First it is a 340 V/8 that had a Carter 4 BBL Carb on it. I have had the engine completely gone through for any problems. It had a warped head on it when I purchased the car So I had the heads replaced with brand new, not rebuilt, original factory specific heads. I replaced the Carter 4 BBL with an Edelbrock performance 4BBL. I still have the original and it will go with the car. I had it completely tuned with new plugs, points, wires etc.. This Buick runs very, very nice and has perfect compression on all banks. It has had a new radiator, water pump, timing chain and gears. The factory 2 spd automatic has been flushed, sealed and had a new modulator installed. It shifts and performs as new no problems. I had all of the brakes completely renewed including drums, cylinders, shoes springs etc... they stop good and straight. I have also replaced the master cylinder and power booster. I have had the air conditioning completly replaced from the compressor to the fire wall and it works as new and blows very cold. It has a new front end with bushings, springs, and shocks all around drives straight quiet and comfortable with no rattles any where. The power steering is excellent and turns very easy. I had the exhaust systems replaced with a dual exhaust system and dual pipes, it sounds great! The interior in this car is the original and is in excellent condition, The seats have no rips or tears or even any fade. The factory black carpeting is still in as new conditon. The headliner is perfect and has no tears and is no coming apart any where. It has brand new tires all around and all new wheel kits from Year One, so the factory rallye wheels look excellent. This car has the original factory black vinyl top that is excellent with no tears or fading. The doors open and close perfectly and it has that nice sound when they are shut. No body work needs to be done any where! No rust ar dents any where on this car it is a southwest machine. Here is what the car needs: one top of one door panel renewed, a rubber seal around the trunk. It needs the front bumper rechromed from sitting under a roof at on time. The paint is nice but could use a better job down the line. It still looks great and shines but is starting to fade in some places. The car is a beauty as is but could use the finishing touches. My father and I have been lovingly working on this car, he has passed away and I no longer have time to finish it. She is a fine car that will drive any where at any time for any distance. It will make a great find for any Buick enthusiast like me!
