This car is running and ready to be fine tuned and smogged, needs some repairs on side doors, aligned, and some new paint would be great. Has Brand New tires and almost every part original Lincoln. Leather full, very nice. has 8 track with tapes, super easy Lincoln power steering, 4 wheel disc brakes(like new). This car is being sold AS IS, has a salvage title, clear, just needs to be registered for the road. Needs to be towed until registered with state and insured. I run the car at least weekly, no fluids leak, engine clean, transmission new rebuild less than 5000. This was my project car ready for my friend to do the body work and paint, but his shop closed and he moved. Car may be inspected prior to bidding, please email for details. I drove a Lincoln Versailles around Los Angeles for years, the classic Lincoln look, always turns heads. Lincoln is similar to ford Granada, mercury monarch. Versailles in class by itself. Smaller 302 V8 is great for good gas mileage but still full zippy power to go. Email for more information and pictures. The second car does not have the rear axle as it was used for adding rear disc brakes to an older Ford Mustang. NOTE:This car has the Ford 9 Inch axle with rear disc brakes width is about 58" (overall, outside to outside), or about 52" (inside, backing plate to backing plate). This is a direct fit for a 1965-1966 Mustang and is adaptable to many other cars like: 1967-73 Mustang, 1960-70 Falcon, Comet, Cougar, Torino, Fairlane, Ranchero, Montego. If you are interested in only the rear axle, bid on the car and take only axle, rest will be towed to recyclers. Does not include battery. UPDATED: Thursday, 5-27-2010------------A prospective bidder came and did an inspection on the car and found the following; -A ding on the front windshield on drivers side(may be able to fix the ding, or i have another windshield on another Versailles you may take for replacement. -Paint on hood and trunk of car started to come of in places, front good, on trunk, some rust started--I have another hood and trunk lid for car that has no rusting if wanted. -The top vinyl roof is original and was intact until a raccoon sliced the top, I taped the cut to prevent moisture, but tape has dried and prospective bidder tried to remove tape. -Air conditioning needs charged- it was blowing cold air several months ago, but not when tried today. -Again, battery not included because it is new. The second Lincoln Versailles i have listed was removed, so winner of this car is entitled to whatever parts wanted from that car, or the entire car if wanted, at no addition cost(remember, the second car has no rear axle and many parts already used on blue Versailles, but does include another set of 4 tires and rims with about 5000 miles on them). I have parts for the Versailles i have collected over the years and all are included with this auction.
